ABOUT ME

I was born in Santander on December 6, 1969, and since then I've always been connected to the world of football. I started playing for my school team, CD Calasanz, continued in several Third Division clubs such as Marina de Cudeyo or CD Laredo, and later oriented my career towards talent identification and analysis in football. I have collaborated as a Scout and Analyst with Marca.com, Goal.com, and other leading media outlets.

My work has also been requested by international media such as BBC Sport, Radio Sputnik, FIFA's "Fútbol Mundial", Telecinco (Uppers), as well as numerous channels and stations: Marca TV, Gol Televisión, BBC, RAI, RNE, Cuatro, and Norway's national television, where I have been interviewed.

In 1995, I launched the Ojeadores.com project, a pioneer in identifying young talent, and was fortunate to introduce in Spain players like James Rodriguez when he was only 17. In 2011, I founded Internacional FC in Santander, a club I managed as Sporting Director, achieving two promotions and two Champions Cups in my three seasons as Director.

I have contributed as an author or source in football books and collaborated in press and radio, always focused on discovering and developing new talent. In parallel, I continue training as a coach, football analyst, data analyst, SQL programmer, web and mobile app developer, applied AI in football, as well as tools such as Power BI and Nacsport, among others.
